Romans Part 2 - FaithSampel
Welcome to Part 2 of Romans!
As we begin part 2 of our Romans reading plan, you may be asking yourself: "What is up with the artwork?" Why incorporate all these gears into Romans? This artwork is meant to illustrate the systematic theology of Romans!
First - the driving "a" gear of Romans.
God is righteousness (Romans 1:1-17). He is the driving force of all that is good and true. (See the driving "a" gear in the video below)
Second - the broken "o" gear.
Because of sin (Romans 1:18-3:26), we have fallen, and we are without excuse, broken and tarnished image bearers of God. (see unanimated "o" in the video below)
Third - the connecting "gospel" gear.
It is by grace that we are saved (Romans 3:21-4:2). This is the work of God because he is righteous! God has made a way for his image bearers to be reanimated by and into his righteousness! (see video below)
God is righteously righteousing the unrighteous! - John Stott.
Don't miss this invitation!
With all this in mind, as you dig deep into the wonder and richness of the Gospel, don't be afraid to drill down on faith with Paul. Paul invites you to the unashamed wonder of the Gospel (1:16-17). There is much for us to learn about the Gospel. The Gospel is rich. It is deep. Dive in!
Family Corner Devotional Questions
We are excited to be introducing an addition to our daily devotionals. Family Corner Devotional questions will be daily question(s) to discuss as a family. These questions are intended to help families start discussions about the scripture and devotional for the day. We hope you and your families will dive deep into God's word and have a rich time discussing the goodness of our great God. Some questions require you and your family to look up definitions or ask those further in their faith journey.

This plan is an invitation to the unashamed wonder and power of the gospel (Romans 1:16)! In this six-part series of plans, you will work verse by verse through the book of Romans. The Gospel tells us: "Jesus Changes Everything". The second step to experiencing the wonder of this gospel is declaring our FAITH in Jesus as our Savior and King!"
