Identity
How often do you take time to reflect on who you are in Christ? Thanks to school, jobs, friends, and all the other things that fill our calendars, you probably don’t get to sit down and think about your identity as much as you need to.
Whether you’re at church or not, who you are in Christ should be evident by what you’re doing and your attitude while doing it. With God’s help, you are capable of impossible things.
As a leader, it’s important to know how God feels about you. Jeremiah 1:5 reminds us that before we were even born, He knew us and designed us to be prophets of all nations.
Challenge: A leader will find their identity through Christ. Take some time today to write out a short identity statement. Use a verse from the Bible that inspires you to be who God created you to be. If you struggle with image, write something positive that reminds you of your identity in Christ. If you struggle with fear, find a verse that speaks about God’s unwavering presence in our lives.
Keep your confession statement on your phone or on a piece of paper you will see often, so you can remind yourself every day to find your identity in Christ.

In this 14-day plan, the Life.Church LeadershipXP team will provide practical, biblical advice to help young leaders develop into the leader Christ has created them to be. Each day includes a practical challenge aimed to help put what you learn through your reading into practice.
