Come to the Garden: Focusing on Jesus

HARI 24 DARIPADA 31

The notice above the cross, “This is the King of the Jews,” was meant to be a mockery of Jesus— to poke fun at His claims. To the believer, it prompts feelings of utter gratitude and reverence: our Savior, on a cross, dying for the sins of the world. There is no mockery in us as we ponder and surrender our hearts to Jesus for His great, undeserved love toward us! What a sweet gift it is that Jesus turned the tables. Even the words that were meant to harm Him, placed there by others, were words that He chose to put in His love letters (the Bible) to us believers. God can use all things for His glory! Jesus is King! Let your hearts be encouraged by that today. There is nothing in your life that God cannot turn around and use for His glory!
