Let’s Go: A 5-Day Family Devotionalनमुना
The Great Big Go
When something happens to you that’s life-changing in the very best way, what do you want to do? Tell others about it!
Before Jesus returned to heaven, He gave His followers—who are also called His disciples—a mission. That mission was to go out into the world and make more disciples! As followers of Jesus, He assigns us that same exciting mission.
We can go out into the world and tell others about the transforming power of God. We can show Jesus’ love through our words and actions. As we live our lives for Jesus, people will be able to tell there is something different about us. Now, this might sound a little scary or overwhelming to you, and that’s okay! But remember, if you follow Jesus, you can be confident that He will continue to transform you to be more like Him. He will help you do hard things. And God will give you the courage you need to go out and share the Good News of Jesus.
Even as Jesus’ followers, we can still fall into the trap of trying to do things on our own. So when we’re feeling fearful or tired or even angry about how things are going, it’s always good to check in and make sure we’re getting our confidence and courage from the Creator of the world. Our strength can run out fast, but God’s supply is never ending.
So, what are you waiting for? How has God uniquely created you to make an impact on this world and share His message of hope? Step out in faith and get ready to move with God by your side, being confident that He can empower you every step of the way.
Are you ready? Let’s GO!
