DAY 2 OF 3

WE HATE WHAT GOD HATES
Now that we understand that LIFE is something that God loves, we are going to look at something that God hates. How can a God who is all-loving have something that He hates?
First, we see that the definition of love is “unselfish, loyal, and benevolent concern for the good of another.” Understand that the opposite of love would be selfishness, indifference, and a lack of concern about the well-being of someone. The definition of hate is “to have a strong aversion and intolerance.”God hates certain things BECAUSE He is a God who has an unselfish concern for His creation, especially the most marginalized people group in modern history – unborn children slain in the womb.

Let’s take a look at a list of things God hates:
“These six things the Lord hates, yes, seven are an abomination to Him: A proud look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood…”Proverbs 6:16-17
There is no blood more innocent than the blood running through the veins of a child who has not even been given the opportunity to breathe the same oxygen that you and I share. When society dehumanizes and despises the life growing in the mother’s womb, these children face a defenseless death that is not only allowed by our society, but encouraged, celebrated, and funded by many governments around the world.

STAGGERING STATS
According to the World Health Organization estimations, 73 million lives are taken by the abortion industry every year throughout the world. This is approximately 200,000 abortions per day. These numbers are STAGGERING. Even though there have recently been small victories of abortion bans enforced in some parts of the world, the ravaging of mothers’ wombs persists in most of the world to this day. The fight for LIFE is not over!

MERCY FROM ABOVE
The reality of this worldwide tragedy can be overwhelming when we look at the big picture. You may even be a woman who previously faced a decision for the child who was in your womb, and you believed the enemy’s lie that made it feel like abortion was your only option. Jesus comes with good news! If you have had an abortion, it is not the “unforgiveable sin.” We are daughters and sons of a God who is full of tender mercy and lovingkindness. When we confess our sins of the past and we turn our hearts to the Father in wholehearted repentance, He takes the crimson stains of our sins and washes us white as snow (Isaiah 1:18). Now there is no shame, no lie, no condemnation that can separate you from the love of your Father in heaven (Romans 8:38-39). There is hope, there is healing, there is freedom, and it's found in Jesus!

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come” 1 Corinthians 5:17

Now is the opportune time to seek God’s heart in this fight against the lies of the enemy perpetuated by this world. Let us bring awareness of what God loves and hates and how harmful it is to women who are pregnant with a blessing and reward within their own womb. Let’s expose the enemy’s lies of abortion and God’s truth! John 10:10 says, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.”

Prayer of Reformation:
Lord, I ask for you to reform any crooked ways within me. I seek Heaven’s blueprint and ask for Your heart and Your mind in all things. I pray, less of me, more of you! I want what you want. Show me what pleases you. If I perish, I perish, but I will make straight the way of the Lord. Lord, You are holy, make me holy! I pray for revival and reformation in my family, city, state, nation, and the world! Amen.
