Spirit Breakout: The Impact of Revival

DAY 3 OF 5

Restoration: A Bringing Back to a Former Position or Condition

Time has a way of eroding the presence of things we hold dear. Life can throw us some curve balls that wear down the fabric of our faith. Sometimes our experiences tear the seams of our joy and praise. If we are honest, there are times the very foundation that we are standing on can feel a little shaky. The Bible tells us that we don’t serve a God that is unable to understand our weaknesses. It reassures us that God is always with us, so we are never alone in this walk. The wind of revival is like a sewing kit or a first aid kit. Revival stitches and heals those areas in us that have been damaged by life. It comes as a salve that will heal the wounds and scarring that we have obtained from battle. The presence of God changes everything, and true revival is a conduit of His Spirit. Allow the wind of revival to heal and restore those places you wrote off or have accepted as broken. There is hope, and His name is Jesus Christ.

Prayer:

God, I thank you for the hope that I know is only found in you. I thank you for the concern and love that you demonstrate towards me. God, I come to you boldly and unashamed, exposing every tear, bruise, wound and broken area. Life has worn me down and although I am hanging on, I realize it is by a thread. I don’t want a quick fix. I want a true fix from the one and only Creator. Complete surgery within me and cut away anything that is not like you. I no longer want to walk in the version of me that life has created. God, please restore me back to the version of me that you created. Amen

About this Plan

Spirit Breakout: The Impact of Revival

When the wind of revival flows there is a refreshing that washes over the earth. It brings with it a renewal of our thinking, our actions, and our heart's posture. In a day and age where there seems to be a flood of negativity and infiltration of the enemy's plans, revival reminds us that God was, is, and always will be in control.
