Christians have God’s reassurance and His promise that when He looks upon His flawed imperfect people, He only sees the righteousness and perfection of Christ. We can stand boldly before Him without shame, fear, guilt, or condemnation. Jesus Christ has substituted our sin and shame for His righteousness. We can rejoice and praise God for our transformation through Jesus Christ.
What past sins or shame are you condemned by that God has already forgiven and forgotten? Let go. Choose to believe what the Creator of the heavens and the earth says about you. Walk confidently in your salvation and the righteousness that Jesus has graciously provided.
Father God, I thank You for making the ultimate sacrifice for me. Help me to rest in my salvation. Help me to see myself the way You see me. Help me to walk in Christ’s perfect righteousness. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
