Finding Happiness in Christ (Series 2)नमुना
Inspiration to live as light
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. (Mat. 5:16)
Thomas Kinkade died at the age of 54. It is estimated that his painting hangs in one in 10 homes in America. Kinkade said that his philosophy of art changed when he became a Christian. He began to paint pictures that have Christian values and small-town themes that are still traditional. His paintings often depict natural landscapes and images from an easier time. Traditional artists often criticize and ignore paintings for their selling points. Kinkade was nicknamed, "The Painter of Light." Kinkade said, "I view art as a tool of inspiration."
The news indicated that Kinkade's personal and professional life were not always per the highest conditions that he desired. However, his philosophy is still something to be reckoned with. Kinkade said, "The people who hang my paintings on their walls are the ones who put their values on their walls: faith, family, home, a simpler way of life, natural beauty, serenity, peace, joy, and hope." Let's go one step further. Don't just put our values on the wall, live them in our daily lives.
Reflection: The most powerful testimony is when we practice the values of the Kingdom of God in every step of our lives because it will be easy for others to read about the truth if we walk in the light of Christ.
Refuse to live less than the best of God. Every day, you can live with joy and walk in His promises to you.
