The Father of Faith
Abraham, the Father of Faith, teaches us what faith is and how to demonstrate it. Abraham is an example through a four-step process, the four alters Abraham built, and his great faith as it matured and developed. The fourth altar, the altar of Surrender, was the most significant. There Abraham demonstrated his total trust in God and that God was entirely first in his life.

Genesis and Exodus are the first two books of the Bible and are the first two of five books which constitute the Torah. Genesis begins with the creation narrative and teaches that God is the one who made everything that exists. This book also teaches about God’s calling of Abraham and how all the nations of the earth would be blessed through his offspring.
