Tips on Raising the Children God Has Given Youनमुना
Never forget that God has a plan for you and that what He calls you to do, He will enable you to do as you follow Him with your whole heart. He will do the same for your children as well.
Second Chronicles 16:9 (AMPC) says, “For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth to show Himself strong in behalf of those whose hearts are blameless toward Him.”
Scripture is full of the phrase “but God,” and it refers to many different scenarios. It can refer to a miracle that only God can do. Sometimes things are not going well, and God steps in to save the day. Or “but God” may refer to a change of direction.
“But God” moments can be for provision, protection, or just direction. We must allow God to be in charge, recognize the “but God” moments, and adjust our lives to His will. Then we need to teach our children to do the same thing.
God has planned for wonderful “but God” moments in your life, and therefore you can do hard things. “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me” (Philippians 4:13, KJV)
So keep your eyes open because He will do great things for you as He directs and establishes you. Proverbs 16:9 (AMP) says, “A man’s mind plans his way [as he journeys through life], but the Lord directs his steps and establishes them.”

We moms are told that what we do isn’t important. We sometimes feel like failures—weary, worn-out, frustrated, unfulfilled, guilty, ashamed, jaded, exasperated, inadequate, and incapable. We start to believe that we’re just bad moms. I hope my journey, the adventure of being the mom to two extremely creative men, will inspire you. Here you will be encouraged as you raise dreamers of your own.
