Revival Is Now! नमुना
Requirements for Revival
In the heart of every passionate Christian is a longing for personal revival. A desire to truly connect with God and know the layered depths of the Holy Spirit. The challenge is, we live caught between the desire to do whatever we want (our body) and the desire to do what God wants (our spirit), so how do overcome the desires of our flesh and see revival?
As mentioned yesterday, God is the one who brings revival, not us, however it is through us that he brings it. He revives our hearts and in turn revives the hearts around us. This means revival starts with you! You are a conduit of revival and can hurry or hinder what God wants to do through you.
For revival to happen in you, it requires two things; a repentant heart and a hungry spirit. For revival to happen through you, it requires you to lead yourself and take a personal responsibility to carry it where ever you go.
Here are 10 ways you can personally lead with revival…
- Rediscover a fresh reliance and dependence on the Holy Spirit
- Recount to others our personal God experiences and expectations
- Refuse to allow familiarity or longevity rob a fresh season of God
- Remind yourself of answered prayer & miraculous provision in the past
- Re-establish good attitudes and Godly mindsets
- Reprioritise spiritual disciplines
- Re-ignite Godly desires
- Restore the joy of His salvation
- Recommit to a life of extravagant generosity
- Reset your heart for the lost
Why not write these down and commit to doing these over the next week? Who knows what God could do in you and through you as you come to Him with a repentant heart, a hungry spirit and a desire to be a conduit for revival!
