Disaster: When Life Falls ApartЗагвар
When Life Falls Apart
One moment, you are living your life, going about your business. The next—DISASTER! Life as you know it has changed in an instant.
You get a phone call. Your job disappears. The doctor has bad news. Your spouse leaves. Your loved one passes away.
And then the questions begin: Will life ever be the same? Will you survive? Where is God in all of this?
In this five-day plan, we will look at how to hold onto the promises of God through the flood, famine, and fire that threaten to ravage your life. You don’t have to walk alone through the divorce, disaster, addiction, car accident, sickness, bad news, wrong turn, or devastation.
Though it may look like impossible odds, God promises to be with you. He will guide you over the mountain, past the giant, and through the parted seas. It may not be the easy way. It may require more faith, guts, grit, or perseverance than you have right now.
But he will not leave you. He will not forsake you.
God is there if your life is falling apart or you are being shaken from your very foundation. In Colossians 1:17, the Bible says He existed before anything else, and he holds all creation together. (NLT) He holds us together even as we feel torn apart.
He has every solution; he hears every prayer. He has peace for the chaos, joy for the mourning, and answers for the impossible questions.
He has everything you need. He is everything you need.
Prayer: Father God, I need you at this moment. My life seems like it has gone off the rails, and I don’t know what to do. But I trust you—you have all the answers I seek for everything I am facing right now. Please be with me, guide me, and help me know you are with me! In Jesus’ name, amen.
