How to Be a Redemptive Change AgentParaugs
Be that Redemptive Change Agent that God wants you to be!
The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship. (Psalm 19:1 NLT)
Last night I took a walk outside with my wife and daughter and we beheld the Aurora Borealis, otherwise known as the Northern Lights. The beauty that we saw in the night sky screamed out the glory of God and His creation. It was if the sky itself was singing praises to our God. When we pause to look, we see the evidence of God everywhere. The problem is that so many in the world refuse to see what God is showing them right before their eyes.
Over the last five days you have been shown what it means to be a Redemptive Change Agent in the place where God has called you to be. God’s most pressing desire is that none of his creation would be lost (2 Peter 3:9). God wants to redeem us all and He has called us all to the task of being Redemptive Change Agents in the place where God has placed us.
Given your belief in God, given what God has done for you in redeeming you, will you take up the challenge to be what God wants you to be? Will you be an agent of change that redeems the culture around you and makes it something better that glorifies God? When you look at the night sky and the glory of God’s creation, do you recognize that even in your smallness God loved you enough to die for you and redeem you? Will you be that person who challenges others to be what God wants them to be and helps redeem your part of God’s wonderful creation? Think and pray about why God has placed you where you are and what you can do for Him as an example of God’s redeeming power!
