21 Days to Life-Changing ConfidenceParaugs
If you leave room for doubt about God’s goodness, Satan will slither into that uncertainty to sabotage you. He’ll convince you that staying within your comfort zone is better than walking in your kingdom assignment. Or to strive and overwork to create a “better” outcome. Or to even give up on hope.
Call it what you want—doubt, distrust, deception—it is at the root of all sin. This distrust in God’s character was what drove Adam and Eve to disobey, lose their closeness with God, and pass down the generational curse of death on all humanity. So how can we learn from their mistakes? By being delivered from doubt.
Think about it this way: Deception is being convinced of what Satan says, and it leads you to death. Deliverance is being convinced of what God says, and it leads you to life.
We become bound to sin by doubt, but we do away with sin by faith. So by faith, be certain of and governed by these truths, no matter what you see: God is not a liar; Satan is. God does not plot your failure; fear does. God is not withholding from you; He is protecting you.
God has good plans for your life—plans to entrust you with dominion and responsibility and for you to multiply these gifts. He created you for love, union, and safety with Him. God brought Jesus to deliver you from the deception of sin so that you can find true freedom in Him. It’s only by faith that you’ll take hold of your ultimate purpose.
God is not a man, so He does not lie. He is not human, so He does not change His mind. Has He ever spoken and failed to act? Has He ever promised and not carried it through? NUMBERS 23:19
DECLARATION:
I am delivered by God. He does not lie; the enemy does. I am confident that trusting in God's goodness sets me free from the enemy's devices.
