You Are God's Masterpiece!Paraugs
Your Uniqueness Is Purposeful!
“And yet, O LORD, you are our Father. We are the clay, and you are the potter. We all are formed by your hand (Isaiah 64:8, NLT)."
To know your purpose, ask God, your Creator, and inventory what talents He’s placed within you. Why this order? Because you are His creation and His purpose for you preceded his design of you.
Your fulfillment is linked to your understanding of your purpose. For example, a cup won’t be a blanket no matter how much it may want to be. A cup judging itself against blanket standards will always come up short and feel unfulfilled. Your optimal fulfillment will come from being who you are created to be.
God is strategic and intentional. Ephesians 2:10 of the New Living Translation records, “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” Knowing the end from the beginning, God knows the good works we each will complete according to His purpose.
Consider God’s message in Jeremiah 1:5. He appointed Jeremiah to be a prophet before Jeremiah was formed in his mother’s womb. Psalms 139:13-14 of the New Living Translation reveals God’s active engagement in our design in sharing, “You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous – how well I know it.”
So, the above paragraphs demonstrate God’s good purpose and design for each of His children. God, our Creator and the Most High God, says we are precious and beloved. Conversely, the enemy of our soul and his agents hiss lies about our worth. Because God has gifted us with free will, we are responsible for who and what we believe.
I choose to believe God. God cannot and will not lie. God is my Good Father who loves me perfectly.
Reflect on yesterday’s message of how greatly God loves us. Let’s choose to believe and receive God’s love and experience lives of purpose and eternal impact. We matter!
