[The Love Of God] Crazy And Compelling Love Paraugs
Be A Difference Maker
Many of us are coping with life instead of being compelled into life. When we cope, we turn inward, making everything about us and what happens to us. When we are being compelled by the crazy love of God, we look outside of ourselves and start serving others, making a difference in their lives.
Everybody loves difference makers. When Michael Jordan was playing basketball, he changed the game. He was a difference maker, and everyone loved him. Steve Jobs changed cell phones forever; he was a difference maker and people loved him. Martin Luther King was a difference maker, and everyone loved him. Mother Teresa was a difference maker, and she was loved by everyone regardless of what they believed in.
As believers, we have the love of God to make us different from the rest of the world. We have a light shining inside of us that makes us stand apart. We have that crazy, compelling love that forces us to be different and make a difference wherever we are. As believers we are called to be difference makers.
Jesus was the greatest difference maker of all time. He taught us that love conquers all and that grace triumphs over judgment and sin. He taught us that the greatest person is the servant, and that the proud will be humbled. He did everything out of love for us. A crazy, compelling, everlasting, irrevocable, faithful, and steadfast love.
We find so many difference makers in the Bible. Think of Daniel and his friends in the time of King Nebuchadnezzar; think of the Apostle Paul and everything he did to change the course of history for believers everywhere; think of Moses, Elijah, Queen Esther, and countless other people in the Bible who made a difference forever.
May you be a difference maker through the crazy, compelling love of God in your life. May you find yourself living a life greater than yourself. May the love of God shine through you like never before! May you live a life of serving others with the same love you received from God.
