Faith for Fertility: A Prayer DevotionalPavyzdys
God’s will be done
Devotional
Mary was very humble and willing to do the Lord’s will in her life. Where can you foster that attitude of humility in your current journey? Is it the way you are thinking, planning, or praying? Perhaps in the way you hold discussions with your spouse? Another area we may often neglect to submit to the Lord is our body and doctor’s visits. The doctor’s job is to prescribe you a plan of action, but no doctor is the steward of your body. Seek the Lord’s counsel above all and ask Him for ultimate guidance. If you are adopting, seek the same regarding your consults with a social worker and other invested parties.
Prayer
Dear Lord, just like Mary, we are Your servants, and we ask, “Let it be to us according to your word." We desire Your word and plans above any other person’s plans, including ours. Your word says of Mary, ‘Blessed is she who believed, for there will be a fulfillment of those things which were told to her by the Lord.’ We ask for a fulfillment of our faith in You. Amen.

If you’re waiting for a child, be it through adoption, natural pregnancy, or fertility treatment, this devotional is for you. The reflections on the scriptures are short and the prayers will take one to three minutes to pray. Be encouraged to allow God to fill your heart with hope, patience, and faith as you fix your eyes on Him. I strongly encourage you to complete this devotional with your spouse.
