YOUR REVELATION OF GOD DETERMINES YOUR OUTCOME IN LIFE

Yesterday, we started looking at a point that can help you live victoriously as a Christian in different situations of life, that is, your personal revelation of Jesus. It is a major step that you must understand to move on to your victory.

When you look at the life of Abraham, God, first of all, changed his revelation before his situation could change. God will not first change your situation; He will first change your revelation. He first changed the name of Abraham before his situation changed. That is God’s pattern and way. He told Abraham to come outside and count the stars in the sky. He changes you from the inside, changes your vision and revelation, painting a picture for you on the inside that you are going to look at. Everybody may keep seeing something different, but are you seeing what God is showing and hearing what God is saying to you?

When the woman with the issue of blood heard about Jesus, she went looking for Him, and from that point, her solution began. Most times, people go about looking for a change of situation. God will not first change your situation, He will first change your revelation. It was the revelation of Jesus she had that changed her situation. She said, “If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.” (Mark 5:28); and the Bible says, “Immediately, the fountain of her blood was dried up”. It was the revelation of Jesus she had that brought the victory.

Prayer: I receive grace for open eyes and correct hearing to see what God is showing me and to hear what He is saying to me concerning my situation. Amen!
