How to Share Your FaithPavyzdys
What do you radiate?
"How do I model my faith without being uptight or even off-putting?"
This question was on my mind when I was invited to speak at a venue outside of my own country. There are so many more churches here and therefore so many more Christians than where I’m from.
As I am putting this content together, enjoying some rest from speaking, I am sitting in a wonderful little cafe, with an open Bible on the table, and it doesn't irritate anyone, because people are much more open about their faith here.
The day before yesterday I was in a rooftop bar with a great view when a young woman suddenly approached me and asked, "May I sit with you? You radiate such peace and joy!"
Throughout our conversation, I shared with her my daily passion for Jesus. It quickly came out that she had made God just a "Sunday project," and for her, being a Christian meant that she attended church and prayed regularly. But there was no deep relationship with Jesus, past just an obligation to attend one of the many churches accessible to her. It made sense to me why she was so unhappy!
Oh, there is so, so, so much more than that! This broken young woman poured out her heart and she had many worries—as many worries as you and I, I'm sure—but while she searched for relief from her fears from the world, I have learned that I can only find true peace and joy in God. She had access to God, but she never truly found the peace she needed. She was looking for affirmation in all the wrong places.
Throughout our conversation, I could share with her that "I get my peace, affirmation and joy from the Almighty God—not from people or anything the world provides!"
This is a message for every person, God offers strength, power, peace and self-confidence to everyone. This message is certainly not off-putting and not at all uptight. Let that radiate out of you!
That attracts other people, not to you, but through you to God! And people who need to hear about the real God who loves them.
"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven." (Matthew 5:16, NKJV)
Want to talk about your faith? Let people see God through you!
May I ask you a delicate, yet important question? Because YOU have a mission here on earth, what are you radiating?
You are a miracle!

The Bible says: "...Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation." (Mark 16:15 NIV) But what that also implies for you is: "Do this where you are right now!" I know how difficult that can be, and how often we miss those opportunities, so I'm going to give you some motivating examples!
