Called to ShinePavyzdys
Allowing the light to burn bright
We shall witness the call to Samuel's life today. The scenario for Samuel was a little different. As a sleeping child, he heard a noise in the night and assumed it was his master. He was a decent employee willing to carry out his master's instructions. He rushed to Eli to carry out Eli's orders when he heard the voice. Eli didn't call him, though. Before Eli understood it was the Lord, this continued two more times. Eli then instructed Samuel to pay attention to what the Lord had to say. Finally, God spoke to Samuel when he was prepared to hear. Like Jonah, he decided to address Samuel directly.
Jonah had attempted to flee God's will, but Samuel sprang to action when he heard his master's voice. He ran to Eli's side to please the one he served. Finally understanding God was speaking to him, Samuel commanded, "Speak, for your servant is listening." He was a remarkable prophet because he was receptive and progressed in the Lord. He let the truth that God had revealed to him shine brightly and enlightened Israel. Samuel worked to carry out the plan that God planned.
It's not always simple to obey God's rules and listen to his words. God may urge you to speak up against someone who is wrongdoing or to be a friend to someone lonely. Even when facing our greatest challenges, God pledges to be by our side. Samuel received a call to duty. He heard God pleading for him when he paid attention to the voice. He discovered his light and decided to let it shine on the Israelites. Over the years, Samuel allowed it to intensify as God formed and molded him into a renowned prophet. He rose to prominence as a superb orator and role model for the entire country. Jesus taught us to let our light shine so that people honor God when they see our good deeds. It is not to exalt men and win their admiration but to hoist Christ up so he may be exalted in us.
