Who Is Leading You?Pavyzdys
The Bible takes us on an incredible journey of how God has led men and woman throughout history. King David (hundreds of years before the arrival of Jesus) is an example of an ordinary shepherd and a valiant king, shepherded by God Himself. The Holy Spirit was evident and moving in David’s life. In moments of battle and in moments of solitude, David demonstrated a reliance upon God. He drew strength and comfort from God.
If you feel a lack of direction or personal leadership, and feel alone or downcast, know that God is with you and the Holy Spirit is close to care for you. Through the challenges of life, we can lean on Him and commit to know Him intimately, drawing from the vastness of His nature.
In marriage, couples know that you can be in relationship and not experience intimacy with your spouse. Intimacy requires ongoing investment, time, conversation, listening skills, and face-to-face engagement. Intimacy isn’t exclusive to outward action, but looks inward and gets to know the vastness and possibility held within another person.
We each have the opportunity to know intimately the Person of the Holy Spirit. We have the opportunity to dwell in Him, while increasingly desiring Him. We receive the blessing of His fellowship and communion, giving our undivided attention to Him. Getting to know the Holy Spirit brings forth unmatched fruit.
