God, The Best Worker

God was the first Worker to ever be. He created, fashioned, molded, designed, and built the entire universe. He is the Creator of every line of work there is. He is the Mastermind behind everything that is created. He created work. And he did it because He knew that it was good. He is the best, most creative, skilled Worker there is. From Him comes everything we know and even what we do not know.

As the Creator of work, God never stops working. He works since the beginning of time, and He will work forever. Part of His work is to take care of us, His creation. He is always watching over us. As a Creator, He is always creating something new. He is always doing something. Even when He is resting, He is working. Since He made us in His image, we have also been made to work. Working is intrinsic to human nature. When He created us, He put a lot of Himself in each of us. We were created to work along with Him, to take care of all of His creation.

If we follow God’s example, we will find that He worked hard, but He also rested. Rest is an essential part of work. It is very important that we understand the need to stop and rest from time to time. God commanded us to rest. That is because He knows the benefits of rest. Just as important as it is to work, it is also important to rest in order to be able to go back to work. Do not underestimate the power of rest, and do not overestimate it either.

When God made us, He did not hold anything back. We have God’s creativity, God’s ability to work and make things from scratch. He designed us so perfectly that He gave us the ability to make things out of pure creativity. He gave us skills that make us unique and help us excel in our jobs. And just as whatever God works on is for our benefit, so should whatever we work on be for God’s glory and the benefit of our neighbors.
