THE POWER OF PRAYERPavyzdys
PRAY WITH TRUST
Little Johnnie said a prayer before going to bed a week before his birthday. With a loud voice, he mentioned everything he wanted. "Don't pray out loud," his mother said. "God is not deaf." "That's right," Johnnie admitted, "But grandma is deaf."
Many of us pray like Johnnie. We ask God for something, but we also prepare a backup of answers. There is one good thing from the following statement, "Pray as if everything depends on God and work as if everything depends on you." But on the other hand, this also reflects the spirit of our freedom. This means: "I have to do it all alone!"
We must recognize the importance of conversations with God. And our requests must come from the right lips, because "he hears the prayers of the righteous" (Proverbs 15:29).
Prayer is like a link in the sky - if we are tightly bound up there, we will have a place to depend on when the world pulls us from below.
Yes! Pray with trust! And God will answer your prayers. He might answer, "No!" He might answer, "Later!" He might answer, "Maybe!" Or maybe He will answer, "Yes!"
But let us understand a universal truth. The Father in heaven longs to hear and answer us, His faithful children, in a positive way. "Almighty Father, accept our prayer of faith as an acknowledgment of our dependence on Your mercy and love. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
Devotion
When we pray, let us have faith and believe that God will provide the best for us. Can we pray for our desires and believe that God's answer is the best for us?
Prayers die when they are not accompanied by faith and trust (Martin Luther)

Prayer is the breath of life of every believer and a way by which we communicate with God. Prayer also shows that we need God at all times in our lives. When we have a strong prayer life, our lives will be guided by the Lord. Let us have a life of prayer and trust in the power of God who can answer every prayer.
