Grief Bites: Finding Treasure In Hardshipsಮಾದರಿ
When it comes to hardships in life, it is common to feel as though you are stuck. The enemy tries to make us believe that nothing will ever get better.
When bad things happen, it's understandable to feel continually defeated in your heart and spirit. We can be tempted to think that we will always stay stuck.
But did you know that God wants so much more for you than that? You are worth more than that. You have a life song that the people around you need to hear. If you give up, you shortchange all the people around you...and yourself.
One of the best gifts God has given to us is free will.
To have the blessing of a free will means we have freedom of choice...we can CHOOSE joy. We can CHOOSE to run to God. We can CHOOSE to do something about life from this day forward. We can CHOOSE to pick up the pieces and create the best life possible with God's direction.
It may not be easy...it may very well be the hardest thing you've ever done...but it CAN be done with the Lord's help.
It may not be the life you once had, but it can be better than the life you are currently living.
Life can be hard. When bad things happen, it's human nature to become discouraged.
When things happen that knock the breath out of you, use that as a signal to check if you are building your life on rock or sand.
When we build our life on God's Word, and in Him, we have a solid foundation...we are building our lives on the eternal Rock.
When we build our lives on worldly things...things that can be lost or changed...it's a signal that we are building our lives on sand.
Today, CHOOSE to set goals that will create the best life God has for you.
Build your life on a sure foundation.
When you find His purpose for your life, life will never be the same.
Take time to pray about your hurts, your life, God's purpose for you, and the goals God places on your heart.
Ask God to help you get back up...ask Him to help you build your life in Him.
