These verses very clearly sum up the law and the gospel. All have sinned – there is no one who can keep the laws of God. Sin gets in the way every time. We are doomed, but God in His great mercy and kindness made a way. Christ took our place in every area. He came to earth to keep the law perfectly for us and then took our punishment through His death on cross. He has done everything for us! What a great God we have!
