Grief Bites: A New Approach to Growing Through Grief

DAY 26 OF 60

Even in the midst of deep grief, you have a great opportunity each and every day: to bring out the best in those around you.

How can you use this amazing gift today?

One of the best ways to throw grief a "right hook" is to invest in blessing others throughout your grief, especially fellow grievers.

If you know of someone who is going through grief, I encourage you to reach out to them with a card or a phone call.

The hard challenges of grief often happen after the funeral when friends go about their day-to-day lives.

Those in bereavement hurt for months, sometimes many years, after the funeral.

On your worst days, when you feel the greatest heartache or hopelessness, use it as a signal to reach out to others and encourage them. Who better to help encourage someone who is going through grief than someone who has or is currently going through grief?

By encouraging and helping others, you are loving others with Christ's love. In the process, God will be healing your own heavy heart as well.

How can you be a blessing to someone who is hurting?

Take the grand opportunity of encouraging or blessing someone today!
