A Minute For Mommyಮಾದರಿ
You Know You Are a Mom When-
You know you are a mom when:
- Your alarm is set for twelve a.m., three a.m., six a.m., and nine a.m.
- You cannot remember the last time you took a shower.
- Your shirt, around the shoulder area, has some type of food on it.
- Laundry is an everyday activity, but folding it is not.
- The socks on your feet don't match and your shirt is on inside out.
- You are eating chicken nuggets, macaroni and cheese, or pizza-again!
- You tell yourself, "I know I just picked that up."
- The theme songs to Barney, Clifford, and the movie Cars will not get out of your mind.
- "No" is the most common word used in your home - by both mom and child.
But you also know you are a mom when:
- Three a.m. is one of the most special moments of the day.
- You look into the bedroom when all is quiet and you are certain there is an angel sleeping there.
- Your heart melts when that sweet little voice says, "I love you, Mommy."
- Laughter fills your home.
- Your kiss is the only thing that can make a boo-boo better.
- Hearing your child sing brings you joy and a smile.
- Your fridge is covered with special crafts, photos, and award ribbons.
- You cry on the first day on kindergarten.
- You can't wait for three ¥o clock to get here.
Being a mom can be a bit overwhelming and tiring at times, but thankfully, there are moments that make it is all worth it. Take a little time to write down your happiest and most exciting motherhood moments. The next time you are feeling weary or discouraged, take it out and read it. Sometimes, all you need to get through the rough times is a reminder of the happy ones.
