Words That Shape Us

Have you ever stopped to think about the power of your words and their effect on you and those around you? Words come and go so easily that we often lose sight of their impact. They can uplift, encourage, and inspire, or they can discourage, wound, and hold us back.

Recently, I was reading about the anatomy of a bee. Something fascinating stood out to me, based on the traditional aerodynamic calculations and the structure of the bee, a bee should not be able to fly. Yet it does. I once heard someone say, "The bee flies because no one ever told it that it couldn’t." That thought struck me deeply. So often, we allow our obstacles to define us not because we are incapable of overcoming them, but because we listen to the wrong voices. We hear words that magnify our challenges, tell us what’s impossible, and make us believe we are not enough. These words shape our perception of ourselves, and if we let them, they can paralyze us, keeping us from fulfilling our purpose.

But there is another voice we need to listen to - the voice of our Creator. I invite you to immerse yourself in God's Word, to let His truth sink deeply into your heart. His words carry more weight than any doubts, limitations, or mistakes you may have believed about yourself. The One who created you calls you chosen. He sees greatness in you. He empowers you to speak life into those around you, reminding them that God's love should echo the loudest in their hearts.

I am not sure what words have been spoken into your life, but I am here to remind you that against all odds or traditional perspectives, you were made to fulfill God’s purpose in your life. You were made for God's glory, and nothing impossible for Him.

Remember, you are God’s creation, sent to shine brightly, even in the darkest places.
