More Than Just a Story - the Book of Johnಮಾದರಿ

Grumbling About the Bread...
Well, here’s an interesting section… Jesus talks about the need to eat His flesh and drink His blood. Wait, WHAT?! Let’s back up.
Jesus was speaking to the crowd of 5,000, listening to the skeptics among them. He was teaching about being the Bread of Life, meaning that all who come to Him will never hunger or thirst. But they questioned His claim that He came down from heaven, that He was the only way to God, and they took His words about eating His flesh and drinking His blood literally.
Some people went from passionately following Him to completely rejecting Him in a short time. But those who clung to Jesus—though shocked by what He said—recognized that His words held eternal life. God’s Word will challenge and even shock us over and over again. This is one of those moments.
What is something you’ve read in the Bible that you wholeheartedly agreed with, only to later to grow and gain different perspective and see it in a different way?
Where have you struggled to hold a previous perspective and a new one?
Where do you go to settle the difference? Remember that God speaks through His word (The Bible), His spirit, and His people. I would encourage you to seek Him in those areas.
