I Love Jesus: 11-Day Devotional by Mac Powellಮಾದರಿ
Ever wake up and just feel tired — before the day even starts?
Like life is already weighing you down and you haven’t even gotten out of bed yet?
You’re doing your best to keep it together, but everything feels like a struggle — work, relationships, just getting through the day.
(And don’t even get me started on figuring out what’s for dinner.)
The bills pile up, the stress kicks in, and it can feel like an uphill battle that never ends.
I’ve been there. We’ve all been there.
That’s why I wrote my new song, “Keep On Keepin’ On.”
There are seasons where we wonder, How long do I have to keep going like this?
We search for answers, praying that the struggle will end. But even in those moments of doubt and exhaustion, God calls us to keep moving forward.
Because here’s the truth:
The battle might be hard, but we’re not fighting it alone.
Isaiah 40:29 says, “He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.”
No matter how drained we feel, He never leaves us without the strength to keep going.
There’s a line in the song that says, “We’ll just keep on fighting the good fight.”
That’s what this life is. It’s faithfully fighting through the ups and downs and trusting that God is making a way, even when we don’t see it yet.
Maybe right now, you feel like you’ve been searching forever for a breakthrough.
Maybe the struggles have been hitting hard, one after another, and you don’t know how much more you can take.
But God’s promise remains: We will make it — not because of our own strength, but because of His.
As the song says, “Children, we’re gonna make it.”
So here’s my challenge for you:
Whatever you’re facing today, hold on tight to the faith that God is working, even in the silence.
If you’re in a season of joy, keep shining your light. If you’re in a season of battles, don’t give up.
You might not see it now, but God’s already preparing a way through this for you.
Trust Him in the process.
So take a deep breath. Hold tight to your faith. And keep on keepin’ on.
