The Noble Experimentಮಾದರಿ
If someone asked you what you wanted your future to look like, how would you respond? Most likely, you’d use words like successful, happy, healthy, or bright. After all, we all desire these qualities for our futures. But how many of us want to try to take control of our futures ourselves? Honestly, probably all of us!
The writer of Proverbs understood that struggle. We want to be in charge and figure everything out on our own, but sometimes, that just makes life more stressful. It’s tempting to believe that if we work more and try harder, we’ll be able to shape everything perfectly. But this verse reminds us that we don’t have to carry that burden. Every detail of our lives, then and now, is in God’s hands. This doesn’t mean we should sit back and do nothing. Instead, we should trust God first and foremost to lead us down the path of integrity today and in the future.
Spend time today in prayer, asking God to reveal areas of your life where you can practice trusting more. To start, work on memorizing this verse and use it as a prayer to pray for just that!
