Prepare the Way: A 21-Day Reading Plan Through John by Justeina Brownleeಮಾದರಿ
Day 10: I Already Told You
Read John 10
Religious leaders confront Jesus, asking Him to tell them plainly if He is the Messiah. Jesus responds that He has already told them, but they refuse to believe. Despite His miracles and Teachings, they demand more proof, revealing that their unbelief, not a lack of evidence, was the issue.
Jesus had consistently shown who He was through His Works—healing the sick, raising the dead, and more. Yet, these leaders were blinded by their skepticism and unwillingness to accept the Truth. Their hearts were hardened, and no amount of proof would satisfy them.
Like these leaders, we sometimes ask God for more signs when He has already spoken. We must be careful not to overlook what God has already revealed to us. Faith involves trusting in what God has shown, even when we can’t see the full picture.
Reflection Questions:
- Are there areas in your life where you are still asking God to "prove" Himself? How can you trust what He has already revealed?
- How can you be more attentive to the ways God is speaking to you today?
