Have you ever done something and wished you could just hit the reset button? Maybe you missed a shot in basketball or didn't get the grade you wanted on a test. In those moments, what do we all want to hear? "Do over!" We love the idea of getting a second chance—a fresh start where we can try again and do better.

One of the most amazing things about following Jesus is that He gives us the ultimate "do-over." When we put our faith in Him, we don’t just get a second chance; we become brand new! The writer of this passage reminds us that when we have a relationship with Jesus, our past mistakes don’t define us anymore. He calls us a new person. There’s no need to prove ourselves or make up for anything—we are fully loved and accepted by God.
