Scriptures For Faith, Deliverance, And Healing

DAY 1 OF 5

I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage, and I have remembered My covenant. “Therefore say to the children of Israel: ‘I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched-out arm and with great judgements. And I will take you to Me for a people, and I will be to you a God. And you shall know that I am the Lord your God, who brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.’”

—Exodus 6:5–7, mev

Deliverance is a gift from God and part of the blessing of being in covenant with Him. It destroys only what is of the devil; it never destroys what is of the Holy Spirit. Since deliverance is a work of the Holy Spirit, it builds up the saints and edifies the church. It tears down the strongholds of the enemy but builds up the work of God.

Israel was told to drive out the nations from Canaan and possess the land. This was a type of Christ’s ministry in driving out demons, which He commissioned His disciples to do as well. A lack of deliverance will allow the enemy to operate in the lives of believers without interference.

Areas of demonization can include the mind, emotions, will, appetite, body, and sexual character. Demons can dwell in different areas of the body, including the stomach, chest, back, head, eyes, glands, shoulders, and even organs.

I wholeheartedly believe in deliverance ministry. I have seen many miracles and thousands of people set free around the world. Every time I do, I thank God for His grace and mercy. I am still learning things in deliverance, and I am believing to see more miracles in the years to come.
