Wait for Him

PRAYER FOR TODAY

Almighty God, how great is the goodness You have stored up for those who fear You. You lavish it on those who come to You for protection, blessing them before the children of mankind (Psalm 31:19). Thank You for the boundless hope we have in You and for the deep joy of being part of Your eternal plan. Your grace is beyond comprehension, and Your mercy reaches far beyond what we can imagine.

In the quietness of our hearts, we eagerly await You, trusting in Your faithfulness and grateful for Your presence that never leaves us. When we feel the weight of this world, help us remember that You are near, that Your Spirit surrounds us, strengthening us daily. Though Your church is scattered across the globe and darkness looms around every corner, we ask that You fill us with Your Spirit so that we may shine as beacons of light, reflecting Your love and truth to those who seek peace and purpose.

Lord, teach us to be steadfast, to walk humbly in the path You have set before us. Help us never lose sight of Your glory and keep our eyes fixed upon Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. When we falter, lift us up; when we fear, remind us of Your promises; when we grow weary, renew our strength as we wait upon You. May we walk in Your ways, bringing honor to Your name, living as faithful servants in a world that so desperately needs Your love.
