Running a New Playಮಾದರಿ
Day 1: A New Play
Reflection:
We all get thoughts and ideas put on our hearts, and I know as a Coach, It’s so easy to get stuck into playcalling the same thing over and over again, and we do it in our own lives. As we go through this plan, I want you to think of what’s been put in your life that could be new. It will be challenging, and it won’t be easy. I want you to spend time on day one writing down those crazy thoughts and delusional ideas, knowing that they’ve been put there for a reason. They’re not by chance; there are no accidents.
I’ll give you an example from my life when a good friend of mine made a phone call and asked me to start filming retired coaches and things that I don’t like, such as social media and being on film, yet I felt compelled to try something new in my life.
This verse from Joshua reminds us that our courage doesn't come from our own reservoirs; it is fueled by the assurance of God's presence.
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." - Joshua 1:9
In my case, initiating the launch of Motivation in Motion was not just about the action itself. It was about trusting in God's plan, stepping out of my comfort zone, and embracing the growth that comes with new challenges. It felt like gearing up for a major game - the adrenaline, the nervous excitement, and the deep-seated belief that with God by my side, I could take this leap.
Action:
Write down the new play, and put it somewhere where you can see it throughout your week.
