Winding Down With the Wordಮಾದರಿ
DAY 6
Gratitude comes from recognizing what God has done for us. It is a state of being grateful and thankful.
I encourage you to make a list of what you are grateful for today and share it with someone. Don't wait until the Holiday season to be grateful and say so.
Do it now, today!
Thank God.
The term 'giving thanks' stems from the Hebrew word Yadah which means "to revere or to worship."
To revere means you have respect for who they are.
Giving thanks should be an ongoing habit we carry throughout our life. No matter what situation we face. We can give thanks to a God who never leaves our side, who is faithful in His Character. We can give thanks even when we don't understand the trials of life because we have a good good Father who loves us and provides for us.
Praise God.
God's name carries AUTHORITY and POWER!
It is above all other names, and we get to proclaim God's greatness.
We have the wonderful OPPORTUNITY to tell everyone. Daily.
God wants everyone to know Him personally and intimately, and we get to help people find Him when we proclaim His greatness.
As people discover what God has done for us it can INSPIRE them to seek God for themselves and discover His great love for them.
We are living vessels of His great love.
We were made to worship God and one way we can do that is by remembering His awesome works!
Take time today to reflect on God's faithfulness. Reflect on what God has done for you, not just today but over your lifetime.
And then...tell others about it!
DECLARATION
As long as I have breath in my lungs, I will give thanks and praise the Lord God!
