Seven Days to Change the World: A Prayer Journey for the Nationsಮಾದರಿ
DAY FIVE: EUROPE
- Population: 747,747,396
- 44 Countries.
- Christians 71.3% Evangelical 2.5%
- Europe has the second-smallest landmass, but its people and culture have shaped the entire world.
- Most Nominally Christian and least Evangelical Continent.
- Desperately needs Revival!
- Pray for the positive impact of immigrant Believers from other nations.
- Pentecostals and evangelicals are growing in maturity, confidence, and a sense of their own identity and robust charismatic movements in mainline churches, which are otherwise declining.
- Religious freedom in the former Communist world means the opportunity for Christians to practice their faith publicly.
- We are seeing new expressions of Christian faith emerging in Central and Eastern Europe.
New Ground
Paul's call into Macedonia (mainland Europe) must have been daunting. He would have known the great persecution he faced. The very first church planted in Europe was the church in Philippi, where Paul ended up in prison and later penned a letter to the Philippians which generations have benefited from. Pray for yourself; that you would also be willing to take up that new daunting challenge. Like Paul, we would face the fears and do it anyway.
Prayer points
- Pray that European believers will grow in love and wisdom, so they can effectively share their faith and multiply disciples.
- Pray that God will provide for all ministries who need good jobs to support themselves and their families.
- Pray that God’s Spirit will move among His people in Europe, and they creatively will reach out to other Europeans, immigrants, and tourists to establish the Gospel of the Kingdom in their lives.
- Pray that people will recognize the emptiness of materialism and that God’s Spirit will draw them to Himself for true fulfillment.
- Pray for mature leaders, deepening unity, and increased discipleship for the growing Church.

About this Plan
The Lord has commanded us to "Go" into all nations and preach the gospel. Our commission to go to 'Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the uttermost parts of the world (Acts 1:8)' is not a sequential but a simultaneous responsibility. Therefore, we will take up the challenge to pray for the nations through one week. We've included the "Seven Mountain of Influence Prayer Guide" at the beginning for those new to prayer, and a Sample General Prayer for Nations and Continents. You will find a prayer guide for each continent with daily personal devotionals.
