Understanding the Subject of Faith

DAY 14 OF 30

STEPS TO BUILD A FAITH LIFE V

Step 5 – Confess the Promise

The kingdom of God is a ‘voice-activated’ kingdom! When you have personalised the promise, you need to say it to yourself repeatedly. The word of God is spoken to you, to be spoken by you! When God gives His promises to you, He expects you to put them in your mouth! That was the rationale behind changing Abram’s name (exalted father) to Abraham (father of many nations).

Mordecai was accused of not bowing to Haman, and he responded by telling them, “…I am a Jew”; Deuteronomy 28:13 is the promise that Mordecai was persuaded of, and he was speaking from that consciousness! Do you really know what it means to be a child of God? Have you thought of the implications of saying, “I am a Christian”? To make it simple, it means you are a Covenant Carrier! So, when others are saying, “It is a casting down,” for you, it is a lifting up! You must discipline yourself to put the word of the promise in your mouth ALWAYS.

Your life will always move in the direction of your mouth! This is a critical principle of the Kingdom. If God’s promise to you is, ‘None shall be barren in the land,’ beloved, you must declare it to yourself every moment that you are not barren, and your babies are coming at God’s appointed time! Give voice to the promises of God, make sure you are persuaded, personalise it, and watch God perform it! He is always faithful; trust me, I know He is!

Prayer: Get ten promises of God that you are persuaded of from the Bible, personalise them, confess them aloud to the Father, and thank Him for the manifestations. Do this daily!
