Refined by Fire: Ignited to Rise From Comfort to Callingಮಾದರಿ
FORWARD FIRE
Welcome to Forward Fire... Ignited to Rise. You are about to rise from "comfort to calling." So, what do I mean by "comfort to calling?" Well, I'm glad you asked. Many of the notable moves and shifts that happened in my life began with a challenge. For a long time, I blamed the devil for difficulties or troubles surrounding my health, relationships, and finances. Then, I realized (according to the Word of God) that the enemy could only do what God allowed. As I faced the fire of my struggles, I sought the Holy Spirit for reassurance and wisdom to understand how God would use adversity to move me closer to His will for my life and to glorify His name. Spending time in prayer and meditation was mind-renewing. Our lives can be transformed with a renewed mind as we allow the Holy Spirit to unveil how adversity flows into God's plan and purpose.
As humans, we have a tendency to enjoy comfort. We will not likely move from a spot too quickly if we're comfortable. However, when the Lord calls forth what He has imparted to us, there is an expectation of a return on investment. God's gifts are irrevocable, so He does not withdraw what He has given. When it is time for us to move, He knows how to spark a blaze beneath us, like fire under a rocket. Just like a rocket, we all have the potential to soar to great heights. Yet, we must be ignited with forward fire to achieve those heights.
So often, the fire that ignites us to move forward is... adversity. If we look to God for discernment and remember that He is walking through the fire with us, our outlook can be changed from believing the situation is unbearable to seeing it as a way of getting us closer to our divine calling.
