The Power of Morning Prayerಮಾದರಿ
I am a morning person because that is something my pastor instilled in me since I was young. One time in my youth years, our church was renting out our facility to a Spanish-speaking church. One day I showed up to church early in the morning to pray because I could not sleep. When I arrived, I saw elderly people playing a cassette tape on stage as they cried out to God. This church would show up at 5 o'clock in the morning to pray.
I was very frustrated because I don't remember ever giving them permission to use our church in the mornings, they were only supposed to use the church Sunday evenings. I was standing there upset, looking at them pray and worship so early in the morning, getting ready to give them a speech as their landlord about them using the space without permission. At that moment, the Lord convicted me and reminded me of how I used to do that. He said to me that His house was supposed to be a house of prayer, but I had become lazy (Isaiah 56:7). I never gave them that speech, and that became a personal prayer revival for me to come back to morning prayer by myself.
Since then, a formation has taken place in my prayer life because of early morning prayers.
I agree with him. My alarm clock goes off at 4:45 am, my coffee machine automatically starts at 4:40 am, and by 5:00 am I'm in church ready to pray. That's been my lifestyle for many years now and my prayer life has been established through that practice.
Secondly, early prayer has saved me from making stupid decisions after 10:00 pm.
In order for you to have an early prayer lifestyle, you'll need to go to sleep before or around 10:00 pm. The truth is that many of us make stupid decisions after 10 pm. We have conversations with people we shouldn't have, we watch things we shouldn't watch, we spend too much time on our phones, and not to mention fornication and other sins occur typically after 10 pm.
If you really make it a priority to spend time with God in the morning, you will see how easily you can avoid doing many foolish things at night.
Let's Pray:
Lord, I want to prioritize time with You first thing in the morning. Help me to start a morning routine that includes prayer as soon as I wake up. Holy Spirit, teach me to pray and guide me with this reading plan.

About this Plan
Many people would say they do not like mornings because of the habits they have developed over time. My goal with this is not to change you, but to make you realize the power that developing a habit of waking up early to seek God can cause in every other aspect of your life.
