When God Says Move a 4-Day Plan by Donna Pryorಮಾದರಿ
God’s Timing
Have you ever had a craving for food at a particular restaurant, and when you get there, you are met by a crowd of people who arrived before you who are still waiting to be seated? You finally make your way to the hostess, and she delivers news that the wait time is forty minutes. You are hungry to the point of being hangry and trying to do the math in your head of how long it would be before you would get food in front of you to eat. You give the hostess your name, and you wait. You wait forty minutes until your name is called. Until it’s your time.
The children of Israel were in the wilderness for forty years. Forty years is a long time to be waiting for something. After that amount of time has passed, you may begin to wonder if it will ever happen. Then it happens; God speaks and says it is time. He told Joshua to command the people to prepare provisions because they would finally cross the Jordan in three days. They have been waiting forty years, and now all God has promised them is only a few days away.
Get ready because when God says it is time, you need to be prepared to move. When God speaks it into existence, it doesn’t need additional approval. It is instantly approved and is ready for you to step into it. The three days He gave them was a courtesy reminder. Similar to those calls, your dentist gives you a couple of days before your check-up appointment you made six months ago. It’s a reminder that you and the dentist have a scheduled appointment, and he expects you to be ready at the appointed time. Prepare your provisions because the time is coming near for your destiny move.
What preparations do you still need to make to move into your destiny?
