God Is Bigger: When God Makes BIG Problems Small a 3 -Day Plan by Kerry-Ann Lewisಮಾದರಿ
Know Who You Are
Fear has been and continues to be one of our greatest challenges. We know that the enemy uses fear to cripple and hinder us, but, why would he want to do that? In the animal kingdom we know that sometimes, an animal may attack another when it is afraid or feels intimidated. When you think about it, the animal may never attack if it does not feel afraid.
The king of Syria was actually afraid of Elisha. He realised that this man possessed a power he did not have, hence the need to send an army to capture him. He could have sent a few choice men but instead he sent an entire army. In the king’s eyes, the prophet was a major threat to him and his kingdom. He decided to pull out all the stops to capture him and save his kingdom.
Imagine the devil being just as afraid of us! He summons his armies and his choicest demons to fight against us. Why? Because he sees how big we are in Christ. He knows we may not know it so he sends challenges and uses intimidation to scare us and stop us from doing what God has created us to do, and being who God has created us to be. Sadly, many times we fall for it.
The devil may not know all that God has planned for each of us, but he knows that once God is on our side he is indeed defeated. We are the ones who have to know what the devil already knows about us.
Elisha knew who he was and who his God was. He was not in the least bit intimidated by Syria’s large army. We too need to be like Elisha and know who we are and who our God is. Then, we would not have to ask to “see,” because we will know that God’s armies are always there, watching over us, ready to defend us and help us fulfill the destiny God has planned for us.
Remember who you are and whose you are. You are more than a conqueror through Christ. You are more powerful and intimidating to the enemy than you think!
Prayer
Father and God, thank you for reminding us of who we are in You. Thank You that You have not given us a spirit of fear and that we are more than conquerors in Christ. When fearful challenges come, help us remember that You are always watching over us and that You will fight for us when the need arises. Thank You Lord for your covering and protection in Jesus’ name. Amen.

About this Plan
No matter the size of our problems, the devil tends to magnify them, making them appear bigger than they really are. This three-day devotional by Kerry-Ann Lewis discusses how “big” problems are reduced when God becomes our focus. It is a reminder that things aren’t always what they seem, and, when God is our focus, we can successfully navigate the challenges that come our way.
