Marriage, Money, and Unity (4 Questions to Ask Each Other)

DAY 4 OF 4

Today we are going to go there to explore ideas on how to do things differently in your financial lives.

Now before you begin discussing these, we first must actually be open to their ideas/suggestions.

Even though they may not be a money nerd, the way they see money isn’t necessarily wrong - but different. And the opposing opinion might just be what completes the picture of what God has called you to do on earth. Remember God put the two of you together for a reason, so lean into the suggestions your spouse has.

  • Do you have any ideas of how the two of you could do things differently? Make sure you are not bringing up accusations, but ideas - ‘I’d like to start saving for retirement’, ‘I’d like to see if we can cut back on groceries’, etc. These should be discussion points to help the two of you brainstorm and find new ideas!

(Take 5-10 minutes and discuss with your spouse)
