Surrender Your Fear: God Can Handle Itಮಾದರಿ
I Am Your Protector
In these messages to us, there is a lot to take in. Layers of meaning. So much life to uncover. So much healing and hope available to us. Do you want to dig in a little more together? Will you slow right now? For a moment?
When we engage in conversation with God, it helps to focus all of our attention on Him. (We know it’s hard--maybe one of the most challenging choices we can make today.) If we do, and we accept God’s invitation to go deeper in our relationship with Him--we will receive Him in abundance. We will receive the love we didn’t even know we needed. We will receive healing for wounds we didn’t know we had. We will receive energy and hope, wisdom and joy. He is so good. And He is for you. He is for you.
So, let’s break down this week’s message into chunks. And, for today, let’s begin with just the first sentence of the first paragraph:
“I am your protector.”
Read these four words to yourself a few times, including reading them aloud, where you can *hear* the words. Repetition helps us meditate on the impact of each word. (How is your heart responding to this experience?) What words stand out to you? “I….am….your...protector.”
“I am your protector.”
How do you visualize God as your protector? (Let your imagination create a scene in your mind now.)
“I am your protector”
What does it mean for you to be protected? Is it something you long for? Is it something difficult to accept? (Tell God how you feel about Him offering to protect you. Do you accept Him having this role in your life?)
“I am your protector.”
In what specific way do you want God to protect you now?
“I am your protector.”

About this Plan
The enemy is really good at making us feel afraid. But God tells us over and over: "Do not fear." He invites us to trade fear for trust and it all starts with spending time with Him. This 3 day plan invites you to breathe in God's truth as you meditate on his love for you.
