Going Deeper With Godಮಾದರಿ
Trusting the Good That You Have For Me
We can get impatient for change. We want what we want when we want it. Right? And yet Holy Spirit reminds us of the process of discipleship. To run we must first walk. To walk we must first crawl. To speak we must first hear. To hear we must first be open to respond.
You see, to be discipled, our hearts must be open. The problem is that our minds rebel and are often in competition with our hearts.
Have you found this to be true in your life?
Father, You teach us who we are, and who we are is founded on your love. You say you love me. You have always loved me.
You tell me that in the night, when I struggle, I can feel you. You hold me up. You give me everything. You hold nothing back from me. You give me good gifts over and over again.
Please teach me to trust you more than myself. Please teach me to be patient. Please help my heart to be open and my mind flexible and eager to learn what it is you want to teach me.
Forgive me for how I push for what I want rather than trusting the good that you have. Help me to trust in what I don’t see--and love you with complete surrender. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

About this Plan
God wants so much more than a casual, drive-by relationship with us. In fact, he designed us to be in deep friendship with him and it's where our hearts feel most at home. This 3 day plan helps us turn our hearts to him and trust in his good, abundant provision.
