God's Precious Gifts for Youಮಾದರಿ

God gives the Holy Spirit
“And Peter said to them, ‘Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.’” (Acts 2:38)
The Bible speaks about various gifts of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit Himself is presented as a gift! If you repent, turn away from your sins, and accept Jesus’ offer of forgiveness, you will receive the Holy Spirit.
Receiving the Holy Spirit is not a privilege reserved for some super-believers, nor does it require any ‘experience’ in the faith. You will receive the Spirit in your heart as soon as you come to faith. The apostle Paul clarifies this by saying, “Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to Him” (Romans 8:9).
In the same chapter, Paul explains what it means to have the Spirit. It means to live according to the Spirit (according to God’s will) and to set your mind on the things of the Spirit (instead of just earthly things). He transforms your heart and cleans you from sin. Moreover, the Holy Spirit guarantees you’ll have eternal life, not just with your soul but also with your body: “He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you” (Romans 8:11).
Does the Holy Spirit dwell in you?
