Join With the Angels
Often, when I am worshiping God, I use my imagination to picture what worship is like in heaven! The Bible tells us quite a bit about worship in heaven.
Revelation 7:11 says, “All the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. They fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, saying: Amen! Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honor and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever. Amen!”
Revelation 4:8 says, “Day and night they never stop saying ‘Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come.’”
What a powerful image! Worship is much more than a song, but singing a song is a wonderful way to worship God. After all, He created music. As I began to imagine what worship in heaven would be like I wrote these words:
What a glorious picture
All of heaven united
Singing loud with one focus
Lifting our Jesus higher
For Holy is The Lord
He is shining with brilliance
Overflowing with beauty
We are all captivated
By the One who is worthy
For Holy is The Lord
He is worthy of all our praise! We can take some inspiration from the angels. They never stop worshiping! Constantly singing holy, holy, holy! They do this because they are in His Presence. They recognize He is worthy.
How much time do you spend in His Presence? Do you ever just take a moment and stand in awe of the One who is worthy? After imagining all these things and experiencing how amazing God is, it brings us to this response of lifting Him up:
Lift Him up, Lift Him up
For He is worthy, The King of Glory
Lift Him up, Lift Him up
For He is Holy, God Almighty
Different things in life try to steal our attention, our time, our worship. Today, make a choice to lift Him up no matter what you are going through, join with the angels in heaven and worship Him! Even right now, take a moment. Lift Him up over every part of your Life.

About this Plan
The songs of Planetshakers offer a glimpse inside the heart and lives of each writer as they seek to express the immeasurable, yearning love of God for His children, and to echo His ‘Now Word’ throughout the Earth. David teaches us throughout the Psalms that songs anointed by the Holy Spirit, birthed in the heights and depths of human experience, have the power to resonate through time and profoundly impact lives for generations. The prayer of Planetshakers is that you too will respond to and encounter His Presence as He draws you, activating the power of His Word in your life as the message behind the songs is shared.
