"Grace So Marvelous"
When is the last time you truly marveled at something? You had no words, but could barely get a “wow” out. You couldn’t wipe the grin off your face, or you were brought to tears and fell on your knees because you were just so blown away by the beauty of what you were seeing. The grace of God can have that effect on us. It should have that effect on us.
When we consider that you were dead in your sins, an enemy of God, a child of wrath, broken and helpless to save yourself – BUT GOD – made you alive, called you his friend, adopted you as his child, made you whole and saved you by his might, all because of who he is, that should cause a sense of awe in you.
He didn’t do this because we were great, but because he is great. We didn’t earn this. We earned death and hell. Anything more than that is undeserved grace upon grace.
We were created to stand in awe. To have our senses saturated with wonder and “wow.” To marvel at things that are marvelous - and there is nothing more marvelous than the grace of God. To stand amazed at amazing things - and there is nothing more amazing than the grace of God. It demands our every breath, our every thought, our every song.
I have never met someone who didn’t love to marvel. There is a transcendent joy that comes with it. And the Gracious Giver of joy wants that very joy for you, his child. Your Father wants to see you grin and weep with laughter and be at a loss for words. So don’t miss out on that today – his grace is far too marvelous.

About this Plan
The Psalms are full of rich truth and deep emotion. The writers didn’t ignore the world around them or try to pretend their problems weren’t real. Instead, they drew from the truth they knew about God (his words, his ways, his character) to shape their worship and worldview. We have the privilege and joy of drawing from this well of truth to encourage our own souls today.
