Glimpses of the Journey: Journeying With Jesusಮಾದರಿ
Living in Light of the Resurrection
The Easter eggs have been found. (Well, most of them.) The chocolate bunnies have been eaten. The friends and family have left. Spring Break has come to an end.
But one thing remains: living in the reality of the resurrection.
Living with hope, assurance, and confidence in Him because He lives.
Living as one who has been forgiven much, thus loves much; as one who can boldly approach the throne of grace; as one who knows she is never alone; as one who has experienced – and continues to experience – newness of life; and as one who can say, with Paul, “He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?”
BECAUSE of the cross, Paul was able to say: “Who can be against us? Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?”
Overwhelming victory is ours through Christ Jesus because of HIS victory! It has been said, “A Savior who triumphs in his darkest hour can deliver his children from theirs.”
Paul went on to speak of his assurance that nothing would be able to separate him from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus. The same is true for you, right here and right now, whatever you are going through.
The love that we have recognized and contemplated this week, as displayed upon the cross, and the power that we have proclaimed, through the celebration of the resurrection, allows us to make this personal: “A Savior who triumphs in His darkest hour can deliver me from mine.”
Take heart, friends, for He is alive!

About this Plan
“Passion Week” (or Holy Week), the week between Palm Sunday and Easter, reflects upon the passion displayed by Jesus as He endured the excruciating pain of the cross. Through this 7 day plan of select passages taken from His final week, we posture our hearts to praise Him for all He has done, marvel at His gift of salvation, and remember how much He loves and cares for His children.
